Introduction: Every new beginning is God’s invitation to step into greater purpose. A new start is a proof that God is not finished with your story. This moment is not just a turning of time, it is a fresh move of grace. New beginnings are reminder that yesterday does not define today. God gives us new starts so we can walk in new strength.
- THANK GOD FOR PRESERVATION:
Before asking for anything new, we must acknowledge what God has already done. You made it into a new month not by luck, but by grace.
- Lam 3:22–23 “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed… they are new every morning.
- Psalm 124:1–2 “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side…”
Gratitude positions us for great increase. When we thank God for survival, we open the door for advancement.
- SEEK DIVINE DIRECTION:
A new month without direction will end in frustration. In this new month, we don’t just need plans, we need God’s placement and divine guidance.
- Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart… and He shall direct thy paths.”
- Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go.”
Wrong direction with great effort still leads to failure just as clarity of direction produces stability in decisions.
Direction determines destination.
- DIVINE ASSURANCE: The only place for divine insured assurance is in the presence of God.
- Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not for I am with you…”
- Hebrew 13: 5-6 “For he hath said, i will never leave thee nor forsake thee”.
Divine Assurance is not the absence of storms, but the certainty of God’s presence in them. Divine assurance is also knowing that what God began, He is faithful to complete.
- Commit the Month to God:
• Psalm 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the Lord…”
• Proverbs 16:3 “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
What is committed to God is covered by God. Surrendering to God guarantees security. When we place the month in God’s hands, we remove it from the enemy’s reach.
- DECLARE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY:
Stand in the place of authority and take authority over the days of this month
- Job 22:28 “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee.”
- Mark 11:23 “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain…”
Your words set the tone for your atmosphere.
Faith is not passive
Don’t enter the month nonchalantly, enter it intentionally. What you do by intention grows, what you leave to chance fails and fades away.
Confession:
BY THE POWER THAT WORKS IN THE NAME OF JESUS……..
This month will not control me…
I will walk through it with divine help…
The ordinary days of this month shall produce extraordinary testimonies for me in Jesus name…
I gain speed in the right direction this month..
I shall see the end of this month
